This month, MBUK subscribers have the chance to give their bike a colourful makeover in our latest Subs Zone competition. Sussex-based DMR Bikes have provided us with bundles of kit for six lucky winners, comprising a pair of V11 flat pedals, a set of matching Grid grips and a Deathgrip-handled pedal spanner.
The prize
DMR V11 flat pedals
Based on the supremely grippy DMR Vault pedals, these have a durable glass-reinforced nylon body, 11 replaceable steel pins per side for rock-solid grip and spin on a hardwearing 4130 chromoly axle.
DMR Grid grips
DMR reckon the new push-on Grid grips are their best yet. Constructed from soft Kraton rubber, they feature a classic ‘mushroom’ pattern with a waffle section on the underside to keep your fingers comfortable, and come in a range of vibrant colours that perfectly match DMR’s V11 and V6 pedals.
DMR pedal spanner
A pedal spanner with a twist, this solid-welded, shop-quality 15mm wrench with laser-cut chromoly steel head features an integrated bottle opener and 6mm and 8mm Allen keys, plus the handle comes wrapped in one of DMR's Deathgrip grips.

The Promoter is Our Media Limited (an Immediate Group Company), Eagle House, Bristol, BS1 4ST. The promotion is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members. The closing date for entries is 11.59pm on 28 September 2023. By entering the promotion, the participants agree: (a) to be bound by these terms and conditions; and (b) that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes. Entrants should enter by submitting their details on the online form. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted. The winning entrants will be drawn at random from all eligible entries after the closing date. The winners will be notified within seven days of the close of the promotion by email. If a winner cannot be contacted, or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
