Innerleithen

Innerleithen

Situated just a few miles east of Glentress, Innerleithen is the preserve of the more experienced rider. There are awesome DH trails littering the hill, a challenging XC route and, if you look carefully, some of the best off-piste trails you’ll ever be lucky enough to ride, some of which are now world-renowned Enduro World Series tracks. There’s a new shuttle service provided by Adrenalin Uplift.

THE TRAILS:

TRAQUAIR XC (18KM, RED)

A trail not for the faint-hearted! It starts with a leg-burning and lung-busting climb up to the top of Minch Moor and then leads into swooping singletrack with optional black-graded features. There are tight, technical sections, and the fast, steep final descent filled with berms and jumps guarantees you finish with a smile on your face.

DOWNHILL (VARIOUS, ORANGE)

The Innerleithen hillside is a rabbit warren of trails. The main DH tracks are the fast Matador, the natural-feeling Gold and Cresta runs, and the aptly named Make or Brake, a track filled with doubles and drops. Innerleithen regularly hosts rounds of the British Downhill Series and the Scottish Downhill Series.
