Mabie

Mabie offers green, blue and red routes as well as a skills area with a 300m freeride line. ‘The Dark Side’, a trail composed of technical North Shore woodwork, is now permanently closed, but there’s still plenty of magnificent singletrack to sample in this scenic forest.

THE TRAILS:

BIG VIEWS LOOP (8KM, GREEN)

Check out the viewpoints along this scenic route to see some great angles of Solway Firth and the Nith estuary. They’re interspersed with short climbs and descents, mostly on forest roads.

WOODHEAD LOOP (10KM, BLUE)

This is a longer version of the Big Views Loop and includes some singletrack as well as fireroad, but it’s still pretty easy.

THE PHOENIX (19KM, RED)

Featuring 80 per cent singletrack, this is a classic 7stanes trail with tough climbs and fun descents filled with rocks, drop-offs and berms. There are also some natural unsurfaced and rooty sections to spice things up a little bit.

SKILLS AREA (PURPLE)

The skills area has different graded trails for a taster of the trail features you’ll find plus a 300m freeride line with loads of jumps.
